Museum Calzado y Piel

The Museum of Shoes and Leather was inaugurated in 2010. It is located in the old Cuartel de Caballería (Cavalry Quarters) or Cuartel del General Luque (General Luque Headquarters). It includes exhibitions of machinery, old footwear, photographs and paintings related with this industry.

The Museum of Shoes and Leather is located in the old Cuartel de Caballería (Cavalry Quarters) (1915), commonly known as cuartel del General Luque (General Luque headquarters), designed by Francesc Roca Simó with modifications by engineering captain Joaquim Coll Fuster. It is a meeting place and a place to reflect on the shoe industry, arranged into two floors.

It has a permanent collection that traces the history of the leather and shoe industry, the driving force of the economy of Inca, by presenting machinery, old footwear and photographs and paintings related with this industry.
