The Sóller Train, linking the capital city of Palma with Sóller since 1912, offers the opportunity to admire some of the most beautiful landscapes on the island.

Mountains full of pine, oak and olive trees, rocky peaks, plots of land with dry stone walls, small houses with painted tiles, streams and valleys that will leave you wishing the trip would never end. Upon arrival, a green valley of orange groves presents a fascinating sight, portrayed by many artists.

At the heart of this city painted by modernism, you’ll be surprised by works of art like the Maja Negra by Joan Miró or the enormous mural by the sculptor and ceramist Joan Gardy Artigas, created to mark the Sóller Railway centenary.

Take the trip and discover many attractions such as the Parish Church of St. Bartholomew, the Can Prunera modernist museum or the Sóller Cooperative, where you can learn first hand about their olive oil production.

On Saturdays we recommend you visit the city’s traditional market, but don’t forget to hop on the tram that takes down you to the seaport where you can enjoy Sóller Port essentials such as tasty seafood dishes and red prawns.
