A paradise beach with turquoise blue water near Cala Ratjada
Cala Agulla forms a small bay with rocky edges and a beach of very fine, white sand.
It is the longest and most popular beach of Capdepera, and is located between Cala Mesquida and the port of Cala Rajada. Although the beach borders on an inhabited area, it has preserved its natural beauty with small pine forests almost reaching the sea. Together with Cala Moltó and Cala Mesquida, the beach part of a natural landscape is of particular interest, as it is a coastal section in very good condition, with little urban development. In the summer, the beach offers services such as life guards, hammocks and umbrellas, and a buoyed area to practice water sports such as surfing, sailing, kayaking or paddle surfing. The beach, 600 meters long, is bathed in crystal clear, shallow waters, with sand and rocks that invite you to dive. Cala Agulla has the property that, depending on whether the wind blows from the west or from the east, it becomes bigger or smaller, with differences of up to 10 meters.
To reach the beach from Artà (11.7 km) or Capdepera (3.7 km), follow the road signs to Cala Rajada and take the turnoff to Cala Agulla where you can park your car.
