Beach S'Arenalet d'es Verger

S'Arenalet des Verger, also known as S'Arenalet d'Aubarca, is a sand of fine white sand with individual rocks in the Península de Llevant Natural Park between the imposing Cap Ferrutx and the solitary a Font Celada beach.

An idyllic area awaits you, only a 5,5 km walk away through the park. The beach does not provide services, but that is what makes its beauty and value worth it! It is one of the most isolated beaches in Majorca, and is part of the large Finca (or possessió) Aubarca, where you can discover the great Es Matzoc refuge - 70 meters above sea level. It was built in 1751 to guard and protect the coast against the attacks of the pirates, who were then attacking the coasts of Mallorca. For the hike you need suitable footwear, sun protection and water and something to eat.

In order to get to the Natural Park from Artà, you have to follow the country road to the Betlem chapel, and turn right at the entrance at Km 4.7. Here you can park your car. You can reach S'Arenalet of Verge also from Cala Torta. Here you have to park your car and walk along the old border path along the coast via Es Matzoc and Sa Font Celada. Do not forget your diving glasses, because you will find seabeds full of life.
