Alcúdia, located in the north of the island, is one of the most historic places in Mallorca. With a vibrant cultural life, this walled town often becomes an open-air stage for concerts, shows and performing arts. Its history is the main theme of the theatrical performances. In fact, the smallest amphitheatre in Spain is here, which was part of the ancient Roman city of Pollentia.

Strolling around the old quarter of Alcúdia, with its medieval houses, majestic manor houses and town hall is a real pleasure. It also offers a wide range of charming restaurants and cafés, craft shops and shops selling local products. Every Tuesday and Sunday there is an open-air market for those who want to enjoy a real taste of Mallorca.

Alcúdia is also ideal for hiking and cycling tourism and the proximity of the port of Alcúdia makes it easy to get away to the neighbouring island of Menorca: the port of Ciutadella is just over an hour away by boat.
