Calvià (Mallorca)

Calvià offers a thousand and one possibilities. In the municipality of Calvià we find centres with a large tourist infrastructure, such as Magaluf, Portals Nous, Portals Vells, Palmanova, Peguera and Santa Ponça. However, the village of Calvià, Calvià Vila, with 2,500 inhabitants, stands out for its beautiful manor houses where the landowners of the area used to live, the church of San Juan Bautista and the building that houses the town hall.

This small Mallorcan village is located in a unique enclave, near the coast and, at the same time, at the start of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, and close to numerous beaches and coves with crystal clear waters and white sand. It also has the main marinas in Mallorca: Puerto Portals and Port Adriano are world leaders in terms of facilities, design and services, and those of Santa Ponça and Palmanova offer a more family-friendly atmosphere, for enjoying sailing with the whole family.

Enjoying the sun, the sea and the Mediterranean lifestyle are the main attractions of this Mallorcan municipality, but it offers much more: it has a rich historical and cultural heritage, hiking trails, archaeological sites that reveal its long history, privileged corners for bird watching, top-level sports centres for training elite sportsmen and women and hosting international artistic and sporting events. Don't forget to visit the public Finca de Galatzó estate. Which one will be your Calvià?.
