Municipality of Mallorca
If you were to take a compass, Lloret de Vistalegre, or Llorito, as it is also known, would not be to the north, the south, the east or the west. It is in the very centre of the island of Mallorca. It is also a regular stop for cyclists on the routes that run through the flat, placid centre of Mallorca.
One of the main attractions of the area is the Comuna de Lloret forest. This Natural Area of Special Interest has two signposted routes that are very easy to follow, as there is hardly any gradient. Along the route, you can visit various ethnological and archaeological elements, and there is even a monolith indicating the geographical centre of Mallorca.
A characteristic feature of Lloret de Vistalegre is the production of figs. A festival is dedicated to them on the first Saturday in September, called the Festa del Sequer.
