Manacor (Mallorca)

Manacor is not only the city of pearls: it is the largest town in Mallorca after the capital, Palma, and has a lot of attractions to discover.

The town has a pedestrian area, ideal for strolling without distractions. One of the recommended visits is the church of Nostra Senyora dels Dolors and the weekly market on Mondays, with stalls selling local food products and unique handicrafts, such as the typical products made from olive wood.

Also, in Manacor is the only Green Way on the islands. This is a 29-kilometre-long track that re-purposes the old railway line and links this municipality with Artà, passing through Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Son Servera. The route starts in Manacor and is ideal for hikers and cyclists of all levels. Its safe route allows you to admire the great variety of landscapes in this area of Mallorca.

Not to be overlooked is the beauty of Porto Cristo, where the famous Coves del Drach caves are located, plus the Majorica imitation pearl factory and the Rafa Nadal International Tennis Centre, for tennis fans or those who want to learn from the best professionals.
