Mancor de la Vall is a lovely stone village located in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana range. It is a place of immense peace and tranquillity, and a perfect base from which to explore the mountain massif, a World Heritage Site since 2011. This corner of the mountain is ideal for hiking, cycling and climbing enthusiasts. It is worth visiting the chapel of Santa Llúcia to discover the incredible views of the village and the mountains.

It is also a good place to enjoy the gastronomy that this part of Mallorca has to offer. In autumn the esclata-sang fair (robellón, in Balearic Catalan) is held here. In addition to buying and tasting mushroom-based dishes, you can also find other types of handcrafted products and enjoy music, traditional dances and even correfocs (literally, fire runs).

Mancor de la Vall is also a town with numerous archaeological remains, such as the talayots, megaliths, of the Clot del Diners and the Cova de Montaura, which was a sacred place where the ancient inhabitants worshipped bulls and said farewell to their loved ones with funeral rites.
