Lloseta (Mallorca)

Lloseta is one of the gateways to the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range and a paradise for climbing, hiking and cycling tourism enthusiasts. However, this simple village resting in the shadow of the sierra has many other charms besides its privileged natural surroundings.

Plunging into the historic centre of Lloseta is a pleasure. The old part of the village has many charming corners: the humble Oratori del Cocó, the parish church, the Palau d'Aiamans, with its more than 15,000 m2, and the theatre, with its avant-garde design building, are highly recommended visits.

But gastronomy is also an important part of the character of this town and there is something to suit all tastes: from prestigious restaurants to those offering simple, traditional cuisine. The "variados" are typical Mallorcan tapas, in which many different dishes are served together, and are a must in the area. Also, you can't leave without tasting a cardinal, the typical local sweet.
