A nudist beach at Ses Salines Natural Park
Es Cavallet is part of the wonderful surroundings of the Ses Salines de Ibiza and Formentera Natural Park, and is one of the most famous naturist beaches of the White Island.
It is a long, sandy beach bordered by dunes, protected by dense vegetation in the rear, separating the beach from the salt deposits that have been used for centuries to recover the salt. The fine, golden yellow sand reaches into the sea, because the beach is very flat. If you walk along the shore, you will discover wonderful corners where you can sunbathe and enjoy the turquoise waters with sandy bottom, rocks and Posidonia. At one end of the beach you will discover the Ses Portes Tower. You can reach the tower on a pleasant walk along the shore. On the 1,100 meter long sandy beach, you will find restaurants and chiringuitos (beach bars), where you can enjoy the gastronomic offer and a pleasant ambience.
Before arriving Es Cavallet (9 km) from Ibiza, you will discover the salt marshes and the pretty Sant Francesc de S'Estany. Its parish houses the interpretation center of the natural park. Access to the highway is easy; you only have to follow the signs. The beach has a parking lot. In the summer, the parking lot is often crowded. Then it is advisable to go by bike or by public transport.
