Beach Port de Sant Miquel

This is one of the small tourist resorts with a family character on the rugged and impressive north coast of Ibiza, where the Es Amunts Mountains with dizzying cliffs fall into the sea between which wonderful bays open.

Port de Sant Miquel, also known as Port de Balansat, is a beach of coarse-grained sand of approximately 100 meters in length, just 3.5 km from Sant Miquel. From the shore you can see a beautiful natural harbor with several fishing sheds, hotels, apartments and restaurants, where you can enjoy excellent fish and seafood dishes. You can also enjoy water sports and boat trips in the area. Sun loungers, umbrellas and pedal boats are rented on the sand.

In the past, this port was the place where smugglers left their goods and hid them in caves like the huge En Marçà cave, which can now be visited with guided tours. The road along the coast allows you to get to the mythical Cala Benirràs and the Es Caló des Moltons and Es Pas de S'Illa des Bosc beaches, which are located in the bay of the port. On the horizon you can see the rock island S'Illa des Bosc and the imposing Balansat tower. It used to be the lookout on the coast. To get from Sant Joan to Port de Sant Miquel, you must follow the signs and the bends. You can park your car in the surrounding area.
