Church Sant Miquel de Balansat

Construction for dual religious and defence purposes, with thick walls decorated with mural paintings. Along with the parish priest's house, it forms an orderly ensemble with a courtyard closed off with an arched portico.

A fortified church built in the 16th century atop a promontory known as "Puig de Missa" to watch over the surrounding lands. It was enlarged a hundred years later with the addition of the chapels of Benirràs and Rubió.  The parish priest's house was built in the 18th century, forming an ensemble arranged around a courtyard with a well. The cemetery is off the north side.

It is the only church on Ibiza shaped like a T. Wall paintings in the chapels were recently found with religious and floral motifs, as well as a frieze behind the altar dated to the 19th century. It has no decoration outdoors except for the arches that enclose the courtyard and the bell wall with a pyramid-shaped roof.
