A strange beach in the Urbanización de Siesta!
The Caló de S'Alga beach, also known as Racó de S'alga, is a very strange beach divided into two areas.
On the one hand, a sandy section well protected by a dyke, and on the opposite side, a jetty which is frequented by bathers who love no sand. For this reason, the beach is also ideal for the families who want to enjoy the peace of the waters and the numerous services. This small corner, hidden in the Urbanización de Siesta, is located 5 minutes from Santa Eularia del Rio; the beach allows you a pleasant beach day, snorkeling over a seabed with algae that give the beach its name, and incredible fish swarms and the cliffs of Cala Llonga full of dense autochthonous coniferous forests of the Pitiusas.
The access can be very complicated because the residential settlement is a sort of labyrinth. On the road from Santa Eulalia turn towards Siesta, and ask someone from the residential community to guide you. The good news is that the beach is visited very little for this reason even in the high season .
