Cove Caló d'en Serral

It is a beach of fine sand which opens to the Bay of Sant Antoni. The Romans called this bay Portus Magnus. The beach is about 50 meters long and 8 meters wide, and gently transitions into the transparent sea. In the summer, the beach offers services such as hammocks and umbrellas, and in its vicinity you will find all kinds of tourist facilities, bars and restaurants with a rich gastronomic offer. 

The beach is gladly visited by families; they appreciate the easy access and the shallow water, where you can practice water sports like kayaking or paddle surfing. Beside the beach you will find isolated platforms, where you can spread your bathing towel for sunbathing. Further in the interior the sandy seabed is covered with Posidonia, the sea plant which blooms, gives fruits and is responsible for the most part the transparency of the Mediterranean; so do not forget your diving glasses. And do not miss the sunset, which is breathtaking on this coastal section! 

To reach Caló d'en Serral from Sant Josep de sa Talaia (8.7 km) or Sant Antoni (3.2 km), follow the road signs to the Cala de Bou beach The access to the beach. You can also reach the beach by public transport or by bike from Sant Antoni, on a pleasant tour over the beach promenade of the village.
