A secluded nudist beach to dive at
This secluded beach is situated between Es Pas and Cova de s'Orenga, at the foot of the Puig des Guixar (189 meters high) on a rugged coastal section in the north of Ibiza, where the Es Amunts mountains with high rock faces crash into the sea.
The beach is a secluded and unspoiled enclave, surrounded by cliffs dotted with dense pine forests; From the beach you have wonderful views of rocky islands such as S'Escull, Sa Paella and Illa d'en Calder. It is a lonely place, even in the summer, which is visited by divers with snorkel or oxygen bottles; they enjoy the marvelous sea beds of rocks, sand and Posidonia. The shore of stones and gravel, with a length of 52 meters and a width of 30 meters, is often covered by a thick layer of Posidonia. To the left, you see old fishing shed with ramps to push the boats into the sea.
To reach the beach from Sant Joan de Labritja (6.4 km), follow the road signs to Portinatx and the turnoffs to the beach. You can park near the beach, and you have to walk 10 minutes via an impassable path until you get to the beach. You need suitable footwear and something to drink and to eat, because the beach does not provide services.
