Cove Llenya

Cala Llenya owes its name to the dense pine forests where wood (lenya) was once collected.

It is a beach with a friendly ambiance, especially on Saturdays, when the Las Dalias Hippie Market is held in Sant Carles with hundreds of stalls with craftsmanship, clothes and accessories. Do not miss the market! The beach has just everything: a bank of fine sand, 200 meters long and 60 meters wide, shallow water and hammocks and umbrellas, rescue swimmers and inviting beach bars and restaurants with a rich gastronomic offer. It is also a good place to do water sports such as windsurf, kite surf, paddle surfing or kayaking, and explore the pretty, inadequate corners of the country. The beach is located on a coastal section with cliffs, between Cala Nova and the Punta d'en Ribes, near Urbanización Can Jordi. In the back of the beach you can see the dry Torrent of the Es Coix and a path leading to the nearby Cala Nova beach.

To get to Sant Carles beach (3 km), follow the road signs to Cala Mastella. Here you will find the signs of the turnoff to Cala Llenya, where you can park near the beach.
