Cove Punta de sa Galera

From the nearby Cala Salada the most abrupt landscape of the island of Eivissa begins, with few accesses to the sea, and this coast is a good example for this characteristics. Punta de sa Galera is a long headland toward the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by crystal clear water on a sandy and rocky ground, as well as underwater fauna, which invites to dive on surface or with oxygen, and where the land begins it has formed a very small cove, Racó de sa Galera, this small beach has stones under high cliffs, surrounded by pine trees with some escars (typical dry docks). The beautiful and calm setting characterize this place which is not very crowded. 

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. the last part has to be done on a track in bad conditions through a thick pine wood, and the last 100 metres have to be done on foot. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at seven hectometres.
