Cove Saladeta

Cala Salada is situated at four kilometres from Sant Antoni de Portmany, located between sa Foradada and Cala Llosar, as well as next to the village of sa Galera.

From its coast you can see Illa Conillera, which is the small island with the biggest size of Eivissa and which can be visited and it is said that the witches of Sant Antoni de Portmany used to take from here the herbs and essences for the spells in the night of San Juan.

Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta belong to the same u-shaped sea inlet, open between the cliffs. The one we are talking about is located next to the right side and the adjacent on the opposite. Both beaches are connected by a trail which follows the coast (there is a fantastic panoramic view of this natural setting).

This beach is characterized by a not too big size, the sand is quite fine-grained and golden, the water is crystal clear, the orientation toward west, and the beach is surrounded by pine trees.

The centre of this sea inlet, at one hectometre from the coast, has good marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats, the depth ranges from four to five metres, on a sandy ground with seaweed.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The last part of the road is quite steep and sinuous. You can park your private car for free in the surroundings.
