To discover the Ibiza of medieval Moorish times
A welcome centre designed with audiovisual technology to show the historical and urban evolution of Ibiza in the Middle Ages.
With modern technology, the Centre uses multimedia to show the history of the city, especially in reference to the period of Moorish domination.
It is housed in the building of the Curia, which was the headquarters of the courts of justice and one of the centres of power in Ibiza in the 16th century.
Madina Yabisa is the name given to Ibiza during the Muslim period, a place name from the old Phoenician name of the island, which in the Roman period derived into Ebuses.
