The Torre des Savinar tower, the wachtower over the sea

What are you waiting for to get to know one of the most emblematic places in Ibiza? We are not referring to one of his famous discos! Come to Ibiza, to Sant Josep to get to know the tower of the Torre des Savinar or pirate tower or Cap des Jueu tower. It was built in the 18th century as a defence tower against pirate attacks. Its history and location make the tower a place you will close to your heart. It stands on the cliffs on the coast, opposite the Es Vedrà i Es Vedranell nature reserve and offers one of the best views on Ibiza.

Look down from the Torre des Savinar. You will discover the small Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell Islands.  Both are icons of Ibiza, not only because of their many legends, but also because many birds, among them the Eleonor's Falcons, are breeding on them.

Feel the magic of the place by trying out one of the routes that lead you to places such as Sa Pedrera de Cala d'Hort or Atlantis, an ancient Phoenician stone quarry that seems to have sprung from a fairy tale. The green of the pine blends with the turquoise of the water.
