With the bike
The Balearic Islands offer a privileged topography for cyclists and hikers. For lovers of the two wheels, the Balearic Islands have become one of the most important tourist destinations in Europe. The guest has the possibility to transport his bicycle as a piece of luggage if he arrives by plane or by boat. This option is highly recommended if your destination is Formentera. The island offers a "circuito verde" (green cycle path) which allows to visit the most important areas of scenic interest without having to drive on asphalt. But if you do not have a bicycle, or you cannot or do not want to take it with you, this is not a problem. On the four islands you will find companies that rent bicycles so that you can enjoy nature or use the bike as a means of transport. Along with the landscape and the sea, the bicycle is one of the great temptations of the Balearic Islands.
By train
If the guest is in Mallorca, he cannot miss the circuit with the electric train, from Palma over the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana to Sóller. This railway has been connecting both cities since 1912 and has retained its original character. In Sóller the guest can take the tram opened in 1913. From the Plaza de la Constitución square to the Sa Posada de l'Artesà, this tram offers a journey through the bay of Sóller in its old wagons, which have retained their charm of the past decades. From Palma, you can also take the modern line to Inca and Sa Pobla which ends in Manacor (SFM). With a high frequency, this railway line connects the capital to the north-east of Mallorca.
