Located in the historic centre of Palma in a Mannerist-style palace known as Ses Carasses, the Gerdhart Braun Gallery is open to anyone interested in discovering the latest in international contemporary art, in what was the residence of Genoese lawyer Joan Francesc Pavesi at the start of the 17th century.

"The Art Palace", as it is known, has four floors and hosts six different exhibition spaces where new solo exhibitions of established and emerging international artists are shown every two months.

The gallery was opened in 2012 by its founder, Gerhardt Braun, who came to Majorca from Cologne after a long career in the sector and working in various fields within artistic creation, such as design, fashion, architecture, interior design and lighting.

The Gerhardt Braun Gallery aims to showcase major works by established and emerging international artists and to promote all forms of contemporary artistic practice in an attractive, dynamic and creative manner.

The gallery currently has five exhibition and experimental spaces in Palma, Puerto de Andratx and Ibiza. You can check its locations here.

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 10.00 am to 8.00 pm.
