The beach is located on the pretty peninsula of the Cap des Pinar, under the elevation of the Puig de sa Madona (151 m) and near the Torre Major, a 17th century fort, to protect the area from the attacks of pirates and To protect the pirates, who repeatedly attacked the coast. To reach the beach from Alcúdia follow the main road towards Port d'Alcúdia (3.5 Km). At the second roundabout, take the turn to the left and follow the Camí d'Alcanada, which leads to the beach. The beach has a small car park and close to the Alcanada golf course, with a restaurant. Before arriving on the beach, you will cross the village of Alcanada, where you will find all kinds of tourist establishments.
