A place of rest in the Colònia de Sant Jordi
Sometimes the gaze, the infinity, needs to be enjoyed without distraction by the view of the horizon.
If this is your case, come to this quiet and unexpected place of the tourist resort of Colònia de Sant Jordi, far from the hustle and bustle of summer. It is a small sand beach with peculiar rock formations, without any service; you should therefore not forget some drinking water and food. It is a place to enjoy the tranquility and the impressive views of this wonderful coastline with the Cabrera archipelago always on the horizon. The name of the beach comes from cabots or forkbeards, a fish that is frequent in these waters. The sandy and rocky seabed is ideal for snorkeling. The beach is often visited by divers who come to marvel at a group of underwater rock arches.
To reach the beach from Campos (15 km) or Ses Salines (5.8 km), you have to follow the road signs to the Colònia de Sant Jordi and the junctions to the beach. You can easily park near the beach.
