A quiet beach with a rocky shore and Posidonia
It Freu de ses Covetes is a quiet beach between the pleasant village of Sa Ràpita and the paradisiacal Es Trenc beach.
It is a picturesque, rocky area, with sections covered by Posidonia, at the end of an inlet. The beach is far less visited than the nearby Ses Covetes beach: here you can dive to discover the beautiful seas with its rocks, the Posidonia and sand sections - which are rich in life. The beach does not offer any service and is part of Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos natural area. It is a landscape of high ecological value with an area of 1,500 hectares, comprising the Es Trenc beach, the dunes parallel to the coast, the salt marshes and the neighboring cultivated fields. Nearby is the only thermal source of the Balearic Islands, already used by the Romans.
To reach Es Freu de ses Covetes from Sa Ràpita (9.2 km) or from Campos (12.9 km), follow the road signs. You can park your car near the beach.
