Beach Estanys

In summer, the beach offers all kinds of services. In the background of the beach you can see a beautiful dune system, on which sea lilies, thistles, juniper and pine grow. You can live with lots of sun, wind, salt and little water. The pretty sea bottom of these turquoise waters, with sand and sections with Posidonia, invite you to explore the seabed with the diving goggles. Further back in the interior are the Sa Vall salt lakes, which gave their name to the beach and the village of Ses Salines. Some historians believe that these salt works have already been exploited by the Romans, who settled in the south of Mallorca. Today they form an ecosystem in the Área Natural de Especial Interés de Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos protected area. 

You can reach the beach on foot from Colònia de Sant Jordi - where you can park your car.
