Beach La Romana

It is a very well maintained beach, where you can enjoy all kinds of services to spend a pleasant beach day with the family. The beach offers rental of hammocks and umbrellas, has a beach watch and in the surroundings various tourist establishments and restaurants with a rich gastronomic offer. At the back of this beach, of fine, white sand and 80 km long, you will find a dune system on which pines and juniper have rooted. The name La Romana originates from the old possessió or farm estate, which stood in other times here. The town is also known as Peguera Romana or Platja dels Morts, and is the smallest of the three beaches of Peguera: La Romana, Peguera Palmira y Peguera Torà. 

To reach Peguera from Andratx (8.4 Km) or Calvià (10.1 Km), follow the road signs. You can park your car near the beach. Access to the beach is via a convenient beach promenade. You can easily reach the beach by public transport.
