Beach Port Des Canonge

Here is one of the most charming small natural harbors of the Serra de Tramuntana on the coast of Banyalbufar.

A beach of about 70 meters wide, surrounded by beautiful fishing sheds and escars - ramps on which the fishermen moved their boats ashore. From there you have wonderful views and can enjoy a family atmosphere, because it is frequented by residents. The shore, of coarse sand and stones, often covered with Posidonia, offers no services, but in the surroundings you will find restaurants with wonderful fisherman's kitchen. The wonderful sea bottom is very good for diving.

Port of the Canonge is the natural port of Banyalbufar, an idyllic stretch of the coast of Serra de Tramuntana. Access to the road from Banyalbufar (11.2 km) or Valldemossa (14.6 km) is easy if you follow the road signs, but the last six kilometers are very winding and are to be enjoyed with caution. You can go to the beach by walking along the Volta del General Path, which leads from Banyalbufar to Port of the Canonge, on foot, with the right footwear.
