An unspoiled white sand beach in the Mondragó Natural Park
Waters in all sorts of blue tones bathe this fully untouched beach of 145 meters in length.
You are in the natural paradise of Mondragó, which opens with two beaches, one more beautiful than the other, the sea. S'Amarador and Sa Font de n'Alis. Together they form Cala Mondragó, one of the largest and most impressive bays of Majorca in the natural park of the same name. You can access the natural park on several well-signposted paths. It is a natural landscape in which landscape and nature live together. In the back part of the beach you will find a valuable dune system and a small lake at the mouth of a stream.
S'Amarador, with a fine white beach, is surrounded by a dense pine forest. The only building you will see is a small beach bar where you can enjoy refreshing drinks or a good lunch beside the sea. Here tou find clear, shallow water with a sandy bottom, Posidonia and rocks on the sides of the beach, between which you can discover a wonderful underwater life.
To reach the beach from Santanyí (8.7 km), follow signs to Mondragó Natural Park. You can leave your car in a parking lot within 5 minutes. With the right footwear you can walk to the nearby a Font de n'Alis beach along a 400 meter long path along the coast.
