Beach Santa Ponça

Santa Ponça is one of the most important tourist enclaves of Calvià, which has grown around a 1,300 meter long and 100 meter wide beach with all services for a day at the sea or a complete holiday.

You will find a rich tourist offer, such as hotels and apartments, as well as wooden walkways for disabled guests, a hire of sun loungers and umbrellas, and many options to practice your preferred water sport. The beach lies between the Punta des Castellot and Caló d'en Pellicer, and forms a great bay of historical importance. On September 10th, 1229, King Jaume I landed with 20,000 soldiers to initiate the Christian conquest of Mallorca. A huge cross, which you can see at the entrance of the Club Náutico Santa Ponça, reminds of this date.

You can reach these enclaves from Calvià (7.7 Km) or Andratx (11.5 Km) by following the road signs. You can park your car in the surrounding area. You can also conveniently take the public transport.
