Beach Ses Covetes

Between Sa Ràpita and Es Trenc is this beautiful beach of fine sand, around the end of the 19th century a summer colony for Mallorcan families.

Very fine white sand, crystal clear water and a shallow seabed make this beach an ideal place for all types of visitors. On this beach you can enjoy various services and a seductive culinary offer. The name Ses Covetes (Small Caves) comes from the prehistoric caves, which were used as graves. The sandstone (marès) was previously broken from the rocks. It is a protected beach which is part of the Área Natural de Especial Interés de Es Trenc-Es Salobrar de Campos, of which Es Trenc, the dunes parallel to the coast and the lagoons – still used to get salt – are a part.

To get from Campos (11 Km) or Sa Ràpita (8.9 Km) to Ses Covetes you have to follow the road signs. The car can be parked nearby. You can also reach the beach by public transport.
