The Cuevas de Artà (Caves of Artà) caves are located on the coast in the township of Artà, in Cap Vermell. They were formed when the mountain massif where they are located fractured.

The entrance is at a good height, and from it you can enter the vestibule, where countless prodigious, huge stalactites hang from a high vault, while other stalagmites spring up from the ground.

The Sala de les Columnes (Column Room) has a host of details worthy of admiration, pure natural architecture. And right in the middle of the Sala de la Reina de les Columnas (Queen of the Columns Room) you can see a column 25 metres tall which reaches up to the ceiling. One of the largest rooms is the one called Inferno (Hell), where rocks and formations shape a fantastical mural.
