Venue of the Festival of Pollença
The convent grounds has a baroque cloister surrounded by four porticoed corridors with flat arches resting on Ionic columns. Every year in July and August, the prestigious Festival de Música de Pollença (Music Festival of Pollença) is held in this cloister.
The Dominicans started construction on this convent in 1558. The church has a basilica-shaped layout with side chapels and a choir at the base. It has two side chapels, each decorated with a period altarpiece. The church is dominated by an altarpiece depicting Nostra Senyora del Roser (Our Lady of the Rose, 1651-1662), with a 15th century image coming from the Roser Vell church rendered by Joan Antoni Oms.
