Courtyard Cal Comte de la Cova

In the 17th century, this house belonged to the Villalonga family and more specifically, to Francesc de Villalonga i Fortuny. Philip IV of Spain awarded him the title Count of Cova and this is where the house takes its name from. The main highlight here is the staircase which features late-gothic tracery and the 14th century painted wooden roof which covers all of the ground floor. It has been recently remodelled by the Faculty of Tourism.
