Cove Anguila

It offers all types of tourist facilities. On the beach you can enjoy services such as hammocks and deckchairs, wooden walkways for handicapped guests and rescue floats. Therefore, the beach is the ideal place to spend a beach day with children and swim in the shallow, transparent water. Among the rocks on the sides of the beach is a rich interval life. Do not forget your diving glasses! The beach is bordered by low cliffs under which you can admire a huge grotto. On the right edge of the beach you can see the remains of an old stone quarry, from which the sandstone (in Mallorcan, marès or pedra de Santanyí) was extracted. With this sandstone, the buildings such as the Cathedral and the Llotja de la Mercaderia in Palma were built. 

To reach the beach from Portocristo (5.1 km) or Manacor (14.7 km), follow the road signs and the junctions to Cala Romàntica. Here you will find the access to the beach, which is via a staircase.
