Cove Badia Blava

This is one of the most beautiful and unexpected bays of Llucmajor.

It is especially visited by the inhabitants of the settlements Badia Blava and Badia Gran, built on the cliffs with crystal clear water, no sand and lots of rocks and platforms, where you can easily spread your bath towel and swim in the transparent sea – a very attractive place to dive thanks to the rich seabed of sand, rocks and Posidonia. Do not forget your diving glasses. To get to the beach you have to climb down a steep but safe wooden staircase. From here you can admire a rugged and wild coastal section. On these steep cliffs, there were earlier paths used by fishermen, pirates and smugglers to get ashore. There were also many sand or Marés lime stones broken that can be found in many buildings in Mallorca, such as the Cathedral of Palma.

To reach the beach from Palma (23.9 km) or Llucmajor (23.6 km), follow the road signs to Urbanización Badia Blava, where you can park your car. You can also reach the beach by public bus.
