Cove Caló d'es Màrmols

You will always fall in love with the pretty Caló dels Màrmols beach!

It is a small beach of fine sand bordered by cliffs up to 20 meters high and has crystal-clear water, which assumes turquoise blue tones on the sandy seabed. The beach - about 40 meters long and 35 meters wide - is located between the Ses Salines lighthouse (which indicates the southernmost point of the island of Majorca) and the pretty Cala s'Almunia beach, in Santanyí. It is an uncontaminated enclave that does not provide services; so you should not forget to bring something to drink and to eat. The Caló des Màrmols beach is the easternmost beach in the municipality of Santanyí, and its name - like that of the river of the same name, which flows from the beach - comes from the white color of the sand and the rocks surrounding the beach.

To reach the beach from Santanyí (4.7 km) or Ses Salines (9.2 km), follow the signs for Cala s'Almonia, where you can park your car. In the back part of the beach, a path takes you - which you can take with suitable footwear - which is about 5 km long and leads you to the Caló des Màrmols beach. You can also reach the beach from the Ses Salines lighthouse on a 5 km long coastal path.
