A beautiful beach of rocks and rocks overlooking the bay of Palma
Between the S'Arenal beach and the residential settlement of Sa Ràpita extends a further coastal section, which was formed by the sea and the wind; on this section of the coast there are so beautiful beaches and bathing places as Caló Fort.
It is a beach of stones and rocks, accessible by a staircase with a railing. You will easily find a parking area near the beach, and the view of the Bay of Palma is wonderful. The beach, 20 meters long and 5 meters wide, offers no services. For this reason you should bring something to drink and to eat. Caló Fort is also known as Caló de Can Mercadal and is located between the Punta de ses Punxes and Calonet de s'Almadrava, at the foot of the Urbanización Cala Blava and Bellavista; their inhabitants visit this quiet beach surrounded by cliffs with small pine trees and apartments.
To reach the beach from Llucmajor (18 km) or Palma (19 km), follow the road signs to Urbanización Cala Blava and then to the Urbanización Bellavista. You can park your car on Torneig Street; there you also have access to the beach.
