In the middle of the nature park
Also known as Cala Mondragó, Cala de sa Font de n'Alis is situated in a nature full of life in the south of Porto Petro and in the north of Cala Figuera.
The green of the pines that line the beach, the gray and white of the rocks that stop the turquoise blue water, the white sand and the blue sky give this beach a unique image, which photographers and painters like to choose al motif. Together with s'Amarador, Cala de sa Font de n'Alis is part of the Mondragó Natural Park, which is formed by a wide variety of landscape. It is a protected area on the Mallorcan coast where we can see deep pine and olive tree forests, cultivated fields and resistant juniper trees. The mouth of a gorge feeds two small ponds, one with fresh water in s'Amarador and one with salt water in sa Font de n'Alis. In addition to the extraordinary scenic values that make a visit worthwhile (more information in the office of the park), this bay offers incentives for the whole family. It is especially suitable for the children's bath, for playing on the sand, snorkeling or diving with oxygen bottles.
To get to the bay, you can start in Santanyí (6.4 km) or the small village s'Alqueria Blanca (5.6 km). You will not find it difficult to find the bay when you follow the signs.
