Cove D'Egos

The coast of Andratx has sections of wild beauty, like Cala d'Egos, a pristine beach with sand and gravel and rocky seabed.

The beach is surrounded by a dense pine forest, as well as low rock cliffs, where almost no vegetation grows. The beach lies on a rugged coastal section with numerous caves between the Puntas Sa Dent and Na Moragues. With its approximately 70 meters length and 25 meters width, the beach is a lonely place, visited by many hikers or lovers of Nordic Walking. The beach does not provide services; so you have to take something to drink and to eat and your diving glasses, because you will discover deep, rocky seas with a rich marine fauna!

To get to the beach from Andratx (7.2 km), follow the road signs towards Port d'Andratx. There the Cala d'Egos road leads you to the path, where the walk begins to the beach. You need the appropriate footwear for this approx. 4.5 km long hiking trail. The route has a high degree of difficulty; Et takes about 1.5 hours to complete and there are 300 heights to cope with. It is advisable to start this hike only with a good physical condition.
