Cove Es Conills

This small rocky beach of more than 50 meters in length and only 20 meters in width is the haven and anchorage of small traditional fishing boats, some of which have a typical shed - escars - which protects the boats during the winter storms.

The beach is close to Sant Elm beach. Although the beach is small, it is certainly worth a visit thanks to its tranquility and the beauty of its surroundings. Here you can see the witnesses of the past, in addition to the transparent water and the rocks formed by the sea. In former times the sandstone was broken in places like this, in times when the fishing and the Marés sandstone meant what today is the tourism. If we believe the historians believe that the limestone was built on this and other beaches for the construction of the castle and the conversion of the protector tower by King Jaume II in the year. In 1934 it was broken. If you bring your diving glasses with you, the numerous rocks on the sea floor and on the sides of the beach will invite you to dive and enjoy the show of the Mediterranean flora and fauna. The numerous bars and restaurants are an invitation to lunch.

To get to this small bay you have to drive from Andratx towards Sant Elm via Sarracó (Ma-1030). At the end of Sant Elm Street, after the beach, you will find this bay. Enjoy the bath and do not forget the sun protection!
