Cove Matzoc
If you love peace, this beach is your beach.
It is located 10 km from Artà, on the east coast of the island; An area with excellent beaches, many of which are untouched and protected. Cala Matzoc owes its name to the eighteenth century watchtower that stands on the top of the Faralló d'Aubarca. It is the best reward for the 20 minute walk to reach the tower. If you can get to the beach by car, we recommend you go down to the beach for two reasons. The first reason is safety, because driving is difficult in some places if you do not have an all-terrain vehicle. The second reason has to do with a gift for you slebts: while walking you have enough time to discover the extraordinary beauty of the coast on the way.
If you are stranded on the beach, only to enjoy the peace on this quiet and pretty beach of fine sand and gravel. The beach is dotted with juniper and pine trees and imposing cliffs that protect the beach from the winds.
