Cove Pi

The southern orientation of this pretty sandy beach, its depth in the coast and the steep walls that surround the beach make this beach the ideal place for days when the Tramuntana or the Llevant wind blows.

The latter is very frequent during the summer months. The beach gets its name from the pines, the coniferous tree so often seen on the island, and the green and the rocks of this beach. The access by car is easy and the beach has a free car park. To get to the seawater the guest has to climb down the steps leading down the beach from the buildings on the cliffs. The beach is perfect for a day with the family; He is usually quiet, and the heights difference into the more is shallow.

Located 17 km from Llucmajor and only 4 km from the Talayot settlement of Capocorb, this beach offers you an environment in which to linger is worth it. Without moving from the beach you can see the 16th century guardhouse and the escars, the boat sheds with ramp for the traditional fishing boats still in use, on the right edge of the beach. The fine sand, the transparent water and the picturesque surroundings make Cala Pi an emblematic place on Mallorca because you have to visit. You only have to choose one partner and follow the signs; the beach is suitable for everybody. Have fun!
