Cove Son Bunyola

The coast of Banyalbufar hides some bays of wild beauty, like those of Son Bunyola.

It is a beach of stones, about 90 meters long, which is beyond Es Port des Canonge, with wonderful views of the cliffs on this coastal section. The beach offers no services; so you have to take something to drink and eat. Do not forget the bathing shoes to cross the stones on the bank, and your diving glasses, because the rocky seabed is impressive. On one side of the beach you will see some fishing sheds, and around you, a dense pine forest that reaches to the sea. The beach gets its name from Torrente de Son Bunyola, which flows in the background of the beach and forms a strip of pebbles and gravel. In the nearby reddish cliffs the traces of dinosaurs have been found.

To reach the beach from Banyalbufar (11.2 km) or Estellencs (18.4 km), follow the road signs to Es Port des Canonge. Here you can park your car. From here it is only 300 meters on foot along a path along the coast that flows into Son Bunyola.
