Cultural space
This building was commissioned by the first Marquis of Reguer, Francesc Amer de Montaner i Dameto, and must have been built prior to 1739, when it was ceded to the marquessate.
It is currently run by the Fine Arts Circle of Palma and is a socio-cultural association founded in the capital of Mallorca in 1940. It regularly holds exhibitions of contemporary art. The exhibition halls can be reached via a traditional Mallorcan courtyard. Its activities include lectures, concerts, film screenings and seminars.
The exhibition area is divided into two rooms. The first is located on the ground floor and measures around 100 m2. There is another room on the first storey which is usually used for the same exhibition; this one is around half as large as the other exhibition hall and has a vaulted ceiling.
