A taste of Augusta awaits you at Golf Son Gual – if you trust the opinion of a former US Masters champion.

Ryder Cup-winning captain Ian Woosnam – who won a green jacket in 1991 – made the grand comparison to the famous greens at the iconic venue after being suitably impressed on his visit to Mallorca.

The par-72 course measures 6,621m (7,240 yards) so requires length off the tee but there are generous lush fairways and wide landing areas to provide a fair test.

But designer Thomas Himmel has struck the perfect balance with fairway bunkers, plenty of water and well-defended greens to create a memorable test considered to be up there with the very best golf courses Mallorca has to offer.
