Golf course Marriott Golf Son Antem Este

Founded in 1994 on former hunting grounds – and still home to plenty of resident wildlife – the east course at Son Antem Golf requires both distance and accuracy to prosper.

At 6,274 metres (6,861 yards) there are some long, challenging holes. But the wide fairways on many of the holes strike a good balance for golfers to score well.

Five lakes are dotted around the course and there is some subtle use of the water to test strategy and course management to find the greens, while the 15th hole requires challenge to make a satisfying carry to the green.

But Son Antem East has plenty of variety and a natural feel to it to help it stand out from other golf courses as a memorable round.
