BEST Centre Sports, with its Olympic-sized swimming pool the jewel in its crown, has attracted thousands of sports teams and athletes from 38 different countries over the past 12 years. 

It was founded in 2009 by former Olympic swimmers James Parrack and Matthew O'Connor, who represented Great Britain at the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games. Although at first it mainly attracted swimmers, triathletes, water polo players and synchronised swimmers, today it's not unusual to find runners and cyclists among its regular customers thanks to its unbeatable surroundings, or yoga and fitness enthusiasts training in its new large multi-functional outdoor area. 

Its facilities are located at the heart of Colònia de Sant Jordi, just a few minutes' walk from the main hotels, port, shops and restaurants, while also close to natural areas such as beaches and trails for hiking, cycling, kayaking, caving, sailing, fishing or snorkelling, with the incomparable landscape of the beautiful island of Cabrera emerging impressively out of the sea.
