An excursion to Sa Dragonera island is an incredible experience that starts from the moment visitors disembark at the port and first reach this natural park at the Cala Lladó Visitor Centre.

There, visitors will find useful information about the routes they can follow on the island (some of which have audio guides available) and the most interesting areas, as well as enjoying a permanent exhibition. The centre is open to the public from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm between April and September, and from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm the rest of the year.

Sa Dragonera is now an uninhabited island. However, not too long ago, the buildings where the Cala Lladó Visitor Centre is located were used by the previous owner of the island before it was acquired by the Consell de Mallorca.

Thus, the houses in Cala Lladó, the house on the road to the Llebeig lighthouse, the storehouse, hen house, dovecote and the ruins of a building in La Miranda are currently used to assist the public, carry out management work or as living quarters for the keepers, volunteers and scientists.
